CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYORS
Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, Loughborough
This is a brand new centre developed on the site of an old pig farm. It is was handed over in the Spring of 2012
Following on from the redevelopment of the Shrewsbury Centre in Shropshire, this new Centre has been designed to the very highest standards of sustainability and low energy use and is on target to achieve BREEAM "Outstanding".
BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) is the leading and most widely used environmental assessment method for buildings. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design and has become the de facto measure used to describe a building's environmental performance.
The site is subject to compliance with The Considerate Constructors Scheme which is a national initiative, set up by the construction industry, to improve its image.
